Q: How much does INSULADD® cost?

Q: I live in a northern climate, will INSULADD® work for me?
A: Yes! Remember that heat travels to cold! The heat inside your home wants to escape toward the cold outside air! INSULADD® on your interior walls will help stop this outward heat loss and help to maintain the comfort level of your home!

Q: What kind of paint should I use?
A: INSULADD® works the same with all interior and exterior paint! There is no one brand that works better than another.

Q: How many coats of paint should I apply?
A: For best results 2 coats of paint with INSULADD® in each coat is recommended. (Additional coats beyond 2 give only a marginal increase in performance over a 2 coat application and are therefore unnecessary.)

Q: Should I use INSULADD® both inside and outside?
A: Yes! For the optimum in energy efficiency it is best to use INSULADD® both inside and out, however either application alone will give you increased energy efficiency!

Q: Can I paint over INSULADD® at a later date?
A: Yes! However a slight decrease in performance may result.

Q: How much INSULADD® do I need?
A: One bottle of INSULADD® per one gallon of paint! (i.e. a five gallon kit of INSULADD® contains enough for five gallons of paint) You can figure on an average coverage rate of 200 sq. ft. per gallon for most house paints on smooth surfaces.

Q: Can INSULADD® be sprayed?
A: Yes! Simply remove all filters from your spray equipment (or they will strain out the INSULADD®) and use a slightly larger spray tip than normal! Wagner Power Rollers can also be used!

 The technology that we use in our ceramic insulating paints and additives is not as simple as it may appear. We participated in a NASA Technology exchange program in 1996 to develop the INSULADD® line of products. Many of our competitors thought that our product sounded like a great idea and have attempted to duplicate not only our products but our claims to NASA participation. As you will see from the information on our website, we have numerous ASTM tests, NIL SPEC tests, ENERGY STAR qualification, and international approvals from a number of foreign countries, Please look for proper independent test data to support the claims made by manufacturers of products like ours.
